Hi all! My first food creation post!
This one is actually super simple. My friend Tess taught me how to made homemade vegetable dumplings, and they were so good. One thing that I can immediately say is that the dumpling dough tastes totally different when its handmade as apposed to store bought. It’s a lot more chewy and tasty. And actually, the recipe is super simple.
We also made scallion pancakes that were delicious.
Recipe:
Get a bowl and fill it with flour and a little water. Then kneed the product until you have a good dough.
In a skillet, put a little vegetable oil and put in chopped carrots, onions, green onions, cilantro, cabbage, and mushrooms. You’re going to want to make sure that you cook it down until it starts to become one blob.
After a bit, put this mixture in a bowl, season it however you like, and crack an egg in there to help it bind.
Then, start boiling water. After this, put this veggie mix into your dough that’s been cut up and rolled out.
Use the left over dough and put some scallions in there. Then, you can make them into pancakes and fry them on a skillet.
