La Jolla beach with Charlie. Love how this one turned out. He’s the only one in the picture and in good focus. I also love how the color of the blue water gradually transitions into the sand. It was so fun going out to the beach after a weekend of non-stop music.
Celebrating Michael’s 29th birthday! Did you know he was turning 29? Ethan got us matching shirts for it, and we had an awesome dinner at Lord’s that night. They had a pop up menu for this Indian woman, who was releasing a cookbook on “Amrikan” cooking, which is basically just Indian American food done by Indians. Fun time.
After dinner, we ended up hanging out in Washington Square Park. It weirdly may be my favorite park in the city. It just feels so New York.
Ethan and I went to Jon’s birthday party on a hot Saturday afternoon. It was nice seeing a bunch of WashU people and some of Jon’s other friends that I’ve gotten to know. I really like the photo. There’s a cool layering of flowers (lilacs?, I love the word lilac and the actual color), then Ethan and then sky and clouds. I only wish that the people in the back weren’t captured in the photo. Would’ve made the third layer cleaner.
After Jon’s birthday, we went to Brooklyn Heights and hung out in the park. Ethan insisted I take a photo of him doing a handstand while vaping. This will be a fun one to look back on when we’re 50 (if we’re still alive after all that vaping).
